Normally all I see is this:
A whole bunch of those together, always flying in big bunches over the snow covered fields.
I see hundreds of them every days, normally flying a few yards in front of the truck as I drive on country roads in my search for something to hunt. I'm always trying to take pictures of them, but they never stay still long enough for me to slam on the brakes and grab the camera.
The other day I ran into this little feller all on it's own and he was much more cooperative so i finally got my picture of a nice Snow Bunting male in winter colors.
